Shalom ( Experiential studies )

Hey hey, so yesterday in Experiential studies class, the dean told us about Cirque De Soliel.

Cirque du Soleil, is a Canadian entertainment company, self-described as a "dramatic mix of circus artsand street entertainment." Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and located in the inner-city area of Saint-Michel, it was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Daniel Gauthier. Each show is a synthesis of circus styles from around the world, with its own central theme and storyline. They draw the audience into the performance through continuous live music, with performers rather than stagehands changing the props.

So yeah, he told us about their shows in Las Vegas. Fortunately I got to experience the show myself. I went to one of their shows in Vegas while I was there a month ago. The show was larger than life. They made the theater into a wonderland where unimaginable things can happen. They mesmerized us with their movements, acting and singing. The effects thrown in to make the performance even more real just blew me away.

He also told us about Las vegas, which is to me a spectacular city. I was there for 3 nights and I still couldn't get enough of it. Staying at the Ceasers Palace Hotel and Casino. Watching the famous Musical Fountain in front of the Bellagio Hotel. Walking to the biggest M&M chocolate store before reaching MGM.

Now that is an experience worth living for.
